Entegee is Hiring a Design Engineer Near Andover, MA

Power Supply Design Engineer - Seeking an experienced engineer with strong knowledge of high frequency switch mode power supplies and topologies to support design and development activities for power supply products.

Job Requirements:

  • BSEE required, MSEE preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in switch mode power supply design.
  • Extensive knowledge of high frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures.
  • Strong skills in power conversion circuit design and analysis, including high frequency magnetic design.
  • Proficiency in circuit simulation and layout considerations.
  • Understanding of feedback control theory and EMC compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent leadership skills, both as a team member and individual contributor.
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Pspice, OrCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB, Excel, etc.
  • Experience and working knowledge of firmware is a plus.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Support design and development activities for power supply products.
  • Build and test electrical circuits on breadboards for evaluation.
  • Perform electrical testing and data collection from experiments and evaluations.
  • Conduct failure analysis using various analytical techniques.
  • Process prototype kits for verification testing and design approval.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product introduction and manufacturing.
  • Provide documentation including bill of materials, test specifications, and assembly drawings.
  • Support sustaining engineering activities for existing product lines.
  • Work closely with Sales and Applications Engineering for customer interface.
  • Develop product planning schedules and write test and qualification plans.
  • Ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
